Hello! My name is Elisabeth VanVliet and I have been an ECSE teacher here at Westerman since 2012.  I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in elementary education. I also have endorsements in special education-cognitive impairments and early childhood education.

I love that I get to spend my work day engaging with our early learners. Pretend play is my favorite thing to teach and my co-teachers will tell you that I am not afraid to get messy during sensory play! When I’m at home, I love to read, be outside, and almost always have colorful socks on!
