Hello! I'm Alex Avery and I'm delighted to be your child's second grade teacher at Carpenter Elementary. While this marks my sixth year teaching, it's my first year here at Carpenter Elementary. I'm filled with enthusiasm to join the Carpenter team. Previously, I taught third grade for two years and kindergarten for three years in Battle Creek, Michigan. 

 

My family and I have just returned to the Ann Arbor area from Kalamazoo. I have one little guy, and we're eagerly anticipating the arrival of another one in February. We couldn't be more thrilled!
