Hello Lawton families! My name is Sarah Dominick and I am the Building Math Coach. In this role, I split my time between Lawton and Bach schools. My role as a coach is meant to be student-centered and supportive of teachers as they plan and implement research-based instructional practices in their mathematics lessons. This is my 18th year as an educator and my 6th year in AAPS. Prior to taking on this role, I was a 2nd grade teacher at Bach. I am married to an AAPS educator and we are proud parents of two AAPS students, a 4th grader and an 8th grader. I am so thrilled to be a part of the Lawton community!

A book I would recommend to Lawton students is Milo Imagines the World by Christian Robinson because of it's creative illustrations and important life lesson.

My favorite subject when I was in elementary school was math because I love solving problems!
